Chapter synopsis: The mango is an important crop and is commercially cultivated in all continents, both in the tropics and subtropics. According to FAO statistics, mangoes are produced in 100 countries and on a global scale, mango production has increased considerably. This chapter explains the genetic aspects that must be considered for mango cultivation, along with physiological features and cultivation techniques, in addition to providing detailed guidance on further reading.
